Who we are

Welcome to Sugar Maple Farms.  

We've been making maple syrup in Connecticut for over 40 years  In addition to  Maple Syrup, we also harvest local   honey..

 In 2006, Jim and Chuck began their journey.

Jim is the main producer of making syrup and managing the bee hive population.  Chuck handles the selling and distribution of the product...

Grade A maple syrup is made in the beginning of the sugaring season.  It can range from pale to dark amber and  is the traditional "pancake syrup"..

Grade B maple syrup is usually made at the end of the sugaring season, which produces a darker syrup..  The very strong and intense flavor of Grade B is consider to be the best for cooking.

Yes, our honey is raw.

     Our hours of operation -  7 days a week from 9am -5pm EST

                 We are also at local Farmers Markets ..

           New Haven and Stonington are our year round markets
